Holmes particularly enjoys working in ceramics, where the physical movements make her feel strong. She often incorporates smiling faces, nature, flowers, and architecture into her work. She finds inspiration in the sun and approaches artmaking with a sense of fun. As her art practice continues to grow, Holmes aims to share her artwork with as many people as possible.
