Piedra by Carlos Arevalos

Carlos Arevalos is a multidisciplinary artist working in painting, ceramics, sculpture, and fashion. Arevalos has been working out of ECF Art Centers Inglewood since 2019. He draws inspiration directly from his imagination, as well as music, sports, and pop culture. Arevalos often incorporates WWE wrestlers, sports iconography, and song titles into his work. Over the past several years, Arevalos has compiled an extensive playlist across several notebooks containing over a thousand songs. He notes that many of his ideas come to him in the evening, allowing him to begin sketching them the following day. In his free time, Carlos enjoys watching YouTube, playing soccer, and hanging out with his dog, Sharky.
