Kelsi Melton

Kelsi Melton has been creating art at ECF Art Centers Inglewood since 2019. She works in a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, ceramics, and filmmaking. Kelsi is deeply inspired by The Muppets, Sesame Street, and many other cartoons. Kelsi thrives on the freedom she has while making art. She often incorporates humor, crossovers, and hidden references into her work. Before beginning a new artwork, Kelsi conducts extensive research into how characters could exist across different settings and universes. Lore accuracy is very important to Kelsi, and her research allows her to create detailed and imaginative crossovers with ease. Outside of the studio, Kelsi continues researching ideas for future artwork by watching shows from her collections, reading supporting materials, and creating lists of her favorite shows.
