Emmanuel Mulugeta

Emmanuel Mulugeta has been with ECF Art Centers Inglewood since 2023. He works across a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, screen printing, and ceramics. Emmanuel draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, including magazines, National Geographic, animals, cities, and his family. Text is an important element in Emmanuel’s artwork, he especially enjoys writing the names of the colors he uses.  He also incorporates descriptions of places, lists, and definitions into his pieces. For Emmanuel, the art-making process is calming and fun. He takes pride in sharing his creative work with others. Outside of the studio, Emmanuel enjoys visiting the mall, grocery stores, spending time at Sky Zone and enjoying tasty meals.
