Veria Williams

Veria Williams’ has been working at the ECF Art Centers since 1972. Her creative practice spans four decades and a variety of mediums ranging from paintings on paper and canvas, to mixed media, sculpture and print-based works. Although she is largely self-taught, her body of work parallels the spontaneity and dynamism of abstract expressionism. Throughout her active years as an artist, Williams has resisted re-creating and re-presenting existing images and text, as such, her work reflects a singular creative impulse and personality, in addition to the uniquely affective mark of time.
