Sebastian Campos

I have been working at the ECF Art Center in San Pedro Since 2014. My favorite thing to do at the art center is working in ceramics because I am chingon when it comes to my knowledge with clay. I know how to manage a ceramic studio and help by recycling clay, making slip and much more. My artwork consists of inspiration I get from my Mexican culture and bright colors. A lot of my inspiration also comes from problems happening around the world, problematic politics and what I see in the media. Incorporating this into my art makes me feel better when these things can make me sad and I feel like I have a voice in the matter. When I am not working in ceramics I like to water the plants and go out on outings with my peers. 

He estado trabajando en el Centro de Arte San Pedro desde el 2014. Cuando estoy en el centro me gusta trabajar en cerámica porque soy chingon y sé mucho cómo trabajar el barro. Se las técnicas de manejar un taller cerámico. Se como reciclar el barro, hacer slip y muchas cosas más. Mis trabajos consisten de mis inspiraciones de mi cultura mexicana y colores vibrantes. Mucha de mi inspiración también me viene de problemas que pasan en el mundo, problemas políticos  y lo que veo en la noticias. Incorporando esto en mi arte me ayuda a sentirme mejor cuando me pongo triste y siento que tengo una manera de usar mi voz en el aspecto. Cuando no estoy trabajando en cerámica me gusta ayudar a regar las plantas y salir en las excursiones con mis compañeros.
