Cesar Rodriguez

Cesar Rodriguez has been working out of ECF Art Centers' San Pedro studio since 2011. In the studio Cesar focuses his time working across all mediums creating detailed embroidery works, large ceramic sculptures, delicately adorned wearable art, playful animations and bold mixed media works. Cesar Rodriguez has a collection of work recognized by his distinct movement of bold color choices through a wide variety of delicate and bulky textiles. Cesar’s subject matters on flat work represent plush like animal and human figures often with similar large eyes, round appendages and smiling faces. In his sculptural work Cesar takes great joy in creating lamps, pillows and other functional objects.
