Lara Patt

Lara Patt has been working out of ECF Art Centers' Downtown L.A. studio since 2014. Lara has been rapidly developing a diverse and colorful body of work ever since. Before attending the program, Lara exhibited signs of being a true artist as she created collages at home whenever she could. Her mother recalls, “from a young age, Lara has had a talent for using shape, color and space to create works of art.” Lara uses a variety of materials and processes in her visual arts practice, from collaging to acrylic painting using sponges, rollers, stamps and stencils. Outside of art making Lara enjoys music, watching action adventure movies, shopping, and eating sushi. She can often be heard throughout the studio humming her favorite songs and laughing while making art.
