Sarah Gerke

I started ECF in 2018. I’ve taken art classes at a community college but my inspiration comes from the details seen through observing life. I am drawn to nature and animals, and I often use reference photos of them to recreate the details and texture. I see the beauty in everyday life and I like to recreate that mainly through painting in acrylics. I have worked in mixed media and would also like to explore fabric and collages. My artwork brings me the joy and peace that I observe around me.
