Kai Fukuyama

Kai Fukuyama is an artist based in the South LA art studio. He has a meticulous approach to his drawings, Often he lines his patterns up with straightedges and is highly concerned with the lay out of a drawing before he begins to make any permanent marks. He is very interested in holidays, natural disasters, food, animals and insects, emergency vehicles and movies. In his own words “I am interested in a lot of things, but not everything”. Kai approaches each of these subjects as well as his general surroundings with a highly inquisitive nature as well as a keen sense of humor.
