Natalie Delgadillo

Natalie Delgadillo has been working out of ECF Art Centers' Westside studio since 2017. She is a master in digital collage and mash ups that cross all art mediums including, ceramics, drawing, painting, digital art, print, and video. Below is a Q and A between Natalie and one of her art instructors.

1) What are your interests? What do you like?

I like to listen to sad but very sweet and tainted music that made me feel safe and as good as it is in the neighborhood such as Michael Bolton, Elton John, Survivor, Depeche Mode, The Pretenders, Richard Marx, Rockwell, Phil Collins, Chicago, and Ketama.

I like Ariel because she came out in 1989 during Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation. I describe why I like Ariel when she hugged me, I feel touched with an emotional feeling of being a smarty pants because I gave her steady love as told by sweet hound dogz as she cautiously listened to me and my Disney mash-ups with Arcade 80's games, horror movies with animals, live action movies, soap operas, sporting events and mature villains and bullies.

I like to watch scary animal movies that interests me however if I imagine Cujo & other reformed villains attack at my house whenever they’ve done something bad. I describe these guys as mother nature guardians to attack the mizfitz considering them to hang out with me as friends (like dogs, lions, grizzly bears, crocodiles, & other animals) which went mad/hungry.

I like Disneyland because Ariel is always around to see me everytime I see her. She listens to my storytelling moments like (Simba, Koda, Balto, Cujo,Tod, Pacman,Little Foot, etc.) however she knows all these names from The Lion King & more characters. I like considering that she is my best friend, with Prince Eric, of all the Disney Princess area to Space Mountain in the morning & midnight snack time.

I used to like stinky feet because it is funny. When I was a baby I used to slobber and nom-nom my toes which are clean after I took a bath and play with a baby turtle with my mommy in 1996-1997 (during Matildae & Dante's Peak).

I like chicken and I ate the chicken skin when I was a kid like 6-9 years old because it is tasty.

2) What is your work about?

My work is about rabid dogs that are still nice even though they have rabies which exposed Aristobrats that teased me within' snitches. And I like stinky feet which made me and my family laugh our tummies out like hyenas.  

My work is about storytelling about Ariel and Eric’s adventures of Space Mountain, Pride Lands, Castle Rock and Great Valley.

I like rats because they sure look like Trevor the Rat from Meet The Feebles if they act like them then I love them.

Ariel is my favorite because I AM ARIEL. If I were Ariel, I gave CPR to drowned and heart attack victims and furthermore I find money on the ground and Ariel stuff from the every stores I found.

I like stinky toes because they stink and I showed my family these to make them go, "Ewww,gross" in a good way until they laugh like mad.
