Camille Chang
“Look, I try to do it my way. Art is really fun and I attract new people. I’m very compassionate, try to give back to disability awareness. I’m very lucky. I’m very independent. I live on my own and have a drivers license and took so many art classes. I took humanities and liberal arts, and I think planners should think about people in the community with developmental disabilities and have more housing for those people. If I can say, always be proud of your own work. Someone will always find something beautiful.”
Camille Chang began at the downtown LA studio in 2014 and transferred to the Whittier studio in 2023. Camille could very well be the official public relations and promotions force of the ECF art program. She is very vocal about her artistic practice and creative abilities. Her works include bright flora and fauna, tributes to pop culture icons, and plans on exploring fiber arts and ceramics.
“I’m telling you. I am not messing around. I mean it when I say that I tell people about the art center. We need celebrities at the art sale. I am telling all of them about my art.”
