Sandy Chale

Sandy Chale has been working out of ECF Art Centers' Downtown L.A. studio since 2013.
“When people see the world, they see brown and green. I see the pinks, reds, blues, purples, yellows. I learned to draw by drawing what was around me. I want people to see my drawings and be happy. Everyone is happy with plants. Everyone loves a flower or a tree. I like to use pastels. I like how they feel. They look and feel like they are a part of the paper. I blend the lines using my hands. I get calm when I draw and I want people to be calm when they look at what I draw.”
