Juana Baltazar

Juana Baltazar has been working out of ECF Art Centers' Downtown L.A. studio since 2017. Juana Balthazar works primarily in drawing and painting to depict animals surrounded by landscape and pattern.  Her compositions extend to the edges of the paper, often organizing shape and form with line work resembling stained glass.  The palette and color schemes utilize bright and vibrant colors.

Juana is a ray of sunshine and loves working on her paintings while she talks with her friends in the studio. She inserts an energetic sense of wonder into all of her work. Juana’s work has been featured at the 2019 Los Angeles Zine Fest and the 2019 Los Angeles Art Book Fair.
