Angelica Alvarado

Angelica Alvarado joined the ECF Art Centers in 2009 and almost immediately became a fixture of the center known for her energetic and warm demeanor and prolific body of work. Alvarado works in a variety of mediums including ceramics, collages, painting and printmaking. Although the focus of her artworks vary between subjects and aesthetic styles, text functions as a constant element throughout her projects. She enjoys working individually, but is also extremely outgoing and enjoys socializing with other artists inside and outside of the studio. Alvarado is continually inspired by the world around her and the work of her peers. She spends her free time looking for reference images and will later incorporate them into future projects. Outside of the studio she loves making jewelry and spending time with her family.
