Angela “Angie” Alvarado

Angela “Angie” Alvarado has been working out of ECF Art Centers'  San Pedro studio since 2012. Her meditative and repetitive patterns are found in most of her works on paper as well as in ceramics and mixed media. Through the years, Angie has created a large collection of colored “donuts”, the commonly found circle patterns in her works.  Angie spends her days in her sketch book drawing gridded donuts, filling page after page and finishing the works with colored pencils, typically in shades of green, blue, yellow and red.
